Counter Education

Anyone who works in coffee knows what a latte, mocha or cappuccino  is, but what about the consumer? Do they always actually know what they’re ordering? Do they know what goes into it? Not all the time.

In an effort to educate the customer, while preventing information overload over the counter, Bongo Java has created postcards outlining traditional drinks. It’s hard to tell the lady who has ordered a 16 oz cappuccino for the past few years that she can only have it in 8 oz now. Why not add a pretty picture to make it go a little bit smoother?

The design was done by Kristen Beck. You can find these postcards on the counters of all Bongo Java locations.
